New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady claims recently signed wide receiver Antonio Brown”is to doing what is in the best interest for your group,” following his controversial departure from the Oakland Raiders.
Brown spent nine decades starring for the Pittsburgh Steelers prior to forcing a trade to the Raiders to be released on Saturday after a series of squabbles with all the group.
Brown made his way on Monday, to Foxborough, Massachusetts, and agreed to a bargain with the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots hours afterwards.
Brady told Westwood One which he”really enjoyed being around” Brown, and described him as”a very smart football player, [who] knows how to play the sport. He’s been extremely effective.”
Brady said he and Brown are”going to fulfill as far as we possibly can. I think that connection is important. The more you know one another, the more you understand what each other’s thinking, the faster you’re able to accelerate the trust and confidence at one another once you get about the field.”
Brady, who led the Patriots to a 33-3 victory over the Steelers on Sunday night, said he wasn’t”buying into any hype or potential. I am in to work. He is into work, doing what’s in the best interest to the team, and our whole crime is. I am very excited for clinic on Wednesday.”
Brown is All-Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowl selection. In 130 games, he has catches for 74 touchdowns and 11,207 yards.
With 129 catches and 1,698 metres, Brown led the NFL in 2014. He led the league with 136 catches, even though his 1,834 yards hardly siphoned league-leading Julio Jones’ 1,871.
Brown’s 1,533 yards has been the best in the NFL.
