New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady maintains recently signed wide receiver Antonio Brown”is to doing what is in the best interest for the group,” after his controversial exit from the Oakland Raiders.
Brown spent nine years prior to forcing a trade to the Raiders, simply to be released on Saturday after a series of squabbles with this group starring.
Brown forced his way on Monday, to Foxborough, Massachusetts, and agreed to a bargain together with the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots hours later.
Brady told Westwood One which he”enjoyed being about” Brown, and described him as”a very wise football player, [that ] knows just how to play the sport. He’s been extremely successful.”
Brady said that he and Brown are”going to fulfill as much as we possibly can. I think that quarterback-receiver relationship is critical. The more you understand each other, the further you understand what each individual’s thinking, the quicker you’re able to accelerate the confidence and trust at one another once you get about the field.”
Brady, who led the Patriots to a 33-3 victory over the Steelers on Sunday night, said he wasn’t”buying into some hype or possible. I am in to work. He is to work, into doing what’s in the best interest for your team, and also our crime is. I’m very excited to get to clinic on Wednesday.”
Brown is four-time first-team All-Pro and a Pro Bowl selection. In 130 games, he has 837 catches for 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns.
In 2014, Brown led the NFL with 1,698 yards and 129 grabs. He led the league the next year with 136 grabs, although his 1,834 yards barely siphoned league-leading Julio Jones’ 1,871.
Brown’s 1,533 yards was the very best in the NFL.
