The Cleveland Browns begin their most anticipated season in More than a decade against the Tennessee Titans.
Expectations are full of Cleveland, as some pundits expect the Browns to be the team to beat in the AFC North. I am not getting caught up in the hype. Baker Mayfield has to show me something for more than 1 season.
That’s not a big enough sample size because of my liking to crown him. Tape is outside him defenses are likely going to be much better prepared the next season around. Everyone had large expectations for Vince Young following his rookie season and he just went down from there. That’s not to say the other or 1 thing. Baker could become a perennial Pro Bowler, but he has to be a bust.
It’s crucial not to get concerned what respects to what the media is saying. We can only go off what Baker did in his rookie year and also what he did was rather impressive. He’ll be looking to avoid a sophomore slump after completing with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions around 63.8percent completions. His season included 131 rushing yards. In his second season, expectations will be higher.
The Browns traded to give Mayfield an goal to pass to. Beckham wanted from New York and he got his wish with a bargain to Cleveland. I really don’t know if Cleveland had been his No. 1 destination, however he goes to a brand new with exciting potential along with a quarterback who will zing it around the field.
Note that Beckham was coping with a hip injury is not likely to be 100 percent in Week 1. Reports have suggested that his hip is worse than previously thought, so that hurts against the Titans. Head below for our free Titans vs. Browns Week 1 pick.

There will be a whole lot of pressure on the Titans to carry out this year. Nearly all of this strain will be pressed quarterback Marcus Mariota. He is at a point in his career where he must excel. Mariota was chosen second overall by the Titans so it’s time is going to be coming for his starting job.
The Titans signed Ryan Tannehill give him some competition and to push Mariota. We should expect to determine Tannehill reunite snaps if Mariota continually struggles. And it isn’t like Mariota has been horribly horrible, he simply has not lived up to his choice in the draft in No. 2.
Mariota passed in 2018 for 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns. He also rushed for 357 yards and 2 touchdowns. Just not everything you expect from a top-rated prospect from college. Together with Tannehill on the roster, Mariota has any added motivation to play well.
The offense should be given an increase by corey Davis. Heading into his third time. Big things are expected from Davis as a sophomore after 891 yards and 4 touchdowns. Delanie Walker and he should unite to give the Browns’ defense some tough looks in this contest.
The yield of a Walker will benefit Mariota . Everyone will be speaking about Baker Mayfield and Beckham in this sport, however Walker and Davis will steal some of their limelight. Derrick Henry is not a fun guy to try and handle, either. He dropped 146.5 yards on the floor in the last four weeks of the season.
Beckham is dealing with a hip injury as we mentioned earlier. It has been confirmed he will not be anything near 100%. He didn’t play a down in the preseason, which prevented Beckham and Baker from creating a rhythm and missed most of training camp. He is going to be more of a decoy here for Jarvis Landry on the opposite side. Despite the injury, Beckham’s existence must be honored by Tennessee.
We are going to see how this year goes, but I am not one of those folks signing the desire of the Browns. They have various weapons. It may take time for this particular unit to acquire some chemistry playing. Mariota has had more than enough time together with his group.
6’s line here will be set with public understanding in mind. Cleveland are the team in the offseason, so of course, money will put in over the Browns. 6 looks like a bit much to me personally in a game that ought to be a close contest. Henry chewing up yardage and maintaining drives probably keeps this within 6 points on Sunday.
