ESPN+, the worldwide leader in sports’ new digital program will stream its first major boxing event on Saturday live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas when Terence Crawford (32-0, 23 KO) challenges WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn (18-0-1, 12 KO) because of his name.

After consolidating the titles this is Crawford’s first bout at 147 pounds.

This will be a busy night in battle sports and it remains to be seen just how much viewership ESPN+ can claim on a day that also comprises a UFC pay-per-view and also a Showtime Championship boxing doubleheader. Crawford is a hefty favorite to emerge victorious.

Crawford will fight after the longest layoff of his profession. When he merged the titles using an impressive stoppage victory over Julius 21, he fought in August 2017. Horn followed his contentious decision win over Manny Pacquiao with a title defense in December 2017 over Gary Corcoran. Horn was up big on all three scorecards when the corner of Corcoran stoped the battle.
