Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins set career highs to receiving yards (198) and touchdowns (three) in his team’s opening match of the season.
Watkins, in his second year with all the Chiefs, started off his monster afternoon with a 68-yard touchdown.
And he didn’t wait to add his moment, hauling in a pass from last year’s NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes.
Afterwards, using a grab, Watkins restricted his trio of both TDs in the third quarter as Kansas City proceeded to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-26.
Were they amounts bests for its 26-year-old, but the total was the fifth-best in 1 game in Chiefs history.
