QPR held a second-half fightback to beat at Luton 3-2 and clinch a third successive Sky Bet Championship triumph.
Nahki Wells scored twice as the London side raced into a three-goal lead at which Ebere Eze scored – and was denied by the natives.
Luton were talented a way back in the match when Rangers keeper Joe Lumley played with the ball directly to Harry Cornick, that helped himself prior to half-time.
James Collins pulled on the back in the second half for the Hatters first however QPR hauled on.
Eze netted after just three minutes, unleashing a right-footed shot from 25 yards which protagonist Simon Sluga should have kept outside and collecting Ilias Chair’s pass but could only palm into the web.
The 20th-minute long ball of toni Leistner set up Rangers’ second for Wells, who commanded on his chest and fired into the far corner.
Sluga pushed the thunderous strike of Eze on into the pub Since the home side continued to dominate.
And the bar was rattled again soon – this time by the header from Ryan Manning’s left-wing cross of Eze.
The outstanding Eze threaded a pass through to Wells, who dared back Sluga for his fourth goal in seven appearances.
Lumley obtained his pass and Cornick just raised the ball into an unguarded net, although it was traffic.
Collins’ goal – his fifth of the year – three minutes after the period increased the hopes of pulling off an amazing comeback of Luton.
The ball swung in from the left and right Cornick at the post nudged it back.
Jordan Hugill making a wreck of glorious opportunities to extend their thoughts not aided QPR’s stress.
After being set up by Eze and later by Manning the on-loan West Ham striker twice scooped the ball over the bar.
Hugill was in good form, scoring four times in his past three outings, but this is.
Since Luton hunted for a late equaliser, Izzy Brown sent a shot wide, Yoann Barbet challenge denied Collins and Lumley was down quickly to keep out a shot from replacement George Moncur.
