The Central division title will probably go down to the wire, together with the Jets, Predators and Blues separated by only two points. The Jets are tied together with the Preds but have a match in hand , they have two-point border on the Blues. For the Blackhawks, it’s simple; they need to win out, and a miracle.
Jets vs Blackhawks Betting Diagnosis The Jets enter this game with the Blackhawks on a four-game winning streak against them, outscoring them 20-12 from the four matches. However, in the last four games played in Chicago, the teams are 2-2.
The Blackhawks have some momentum on their side in this show since the home team 6-1 in the last seven games. The Hawks will also be 5-0 in their past five games when playing a team with a winning record.
Of note, the more than is 5-1 in the last six matches, including a run of three consecutive games into the over.
Winnipeg Jets
The Jets enter this game with the Hawks on a three-game losing series played one of their most sluggish games of the year Saturday night. Anticipate the Jets to split the goaltending duties in both of these games, as Connor Hellebuyck will play in one game, and the question is, who’ll play the other? Laurent Brossoit was battling an accident as of late, so it could also be Eric Comrie (Manitoba Moose) to draw the mission.
Of note, Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien returned to the line-up after missing 19 games with a lower-body injury. He had been minus-1 with three hits in 24:24. Byfuglien has missed a total of 40 games this year. The Jets are hopeful that this will be the conclusion of a terrible luck season for the big defenceman.
Chicago Blackhawks
Though the Blackhawks are not mathematically eliminated from the post seasonthey are on their last measures. The group enters this game with the Jets coming from a critical 3-2 overtime loss to the Kings. They are 5-3-2 in their last 10 matches, but are 2-4 in their last six.
Although goal scoring hasn’t been a problem for the Hawks this season, averaging 3.24 matches per match (ranked eighth in the league), it has been of late. In their past eight games, they have scored just 16 goals.
Team goals against has been an issue in Chicago, and probably the number one reason this group will not be headed to the post season. Presently its ranked 30th in the league, averaging 3.56 goals against per game. They are also ranked 30th in all shots allowed, averaging nearly 35 shots against per game.
