Home Run Derby has been a short-lived television series that ran just one year (1960). Hall of Famers Hank Aaron and Duke Snider were paired up in one episode, and combined with four homers. Even the Cleveland Indians hit 4 HR from the first two innings of Thursday’s series opener in New York from the Yankees, leaving me to wonder exactly what the squads could do for an encore after joining for 10 long balls in the matchup.
