The Cleveland Browns Start their most Likely season in over a decade from the Tennessee Titans.
As some pundits expect the Browns to be the team to beat in the AFC North, expectations are high in Cleveland. I am not getting caught up in the hype, however. Baker Mayfield has to show me something for more than one season.
That’s not a massive enough sample size for my liking. Tape is outside him defenses are going to be much better prepared the season. Everyone had large expectations for Vince Young following his rookie season and he went down from there. That’s not to mention the other or one thing. Baker could develop into a perennial Pro Bowler, but he has time to be a bust.
It’s crucial not to get overly involved what respects to that which the media is saying. Having said all that, we can only go off what Baker did in his rookie season and also what he did was impressive. He’ll be seeking to avoid a sophomore slump after completing with 27 touchdowns and 14 interceptions on 63.8% completions. His season included 131 rushing yards. In his second season, expectations are going to be higher.
The Browns exchanged to give an elite target to Mayfield. Beckham wanted from New York and he also got his wish to Cleveland with a bargain. I don’t know if Cleveland had been his No. 1 destination, but he does go to a brand new with exciting potential and a quarterback who will zing it across the area.
Note that Beckham has been dealing with a hip injury is not likely to be 100% in Week 1. Reports have suggested that his hip is worse than previously thought, so that strikes against the Titans. Head below for our free Titans vs. Browns Week 1 pick.

There is going to be a ton of pressure on the Titans to execute this year. Most of this pressure will be pressed on quarterback Marcus Mariota. He’s at a point in his career where he has to excel. Mariota was selected second overall by the Titans in 2015, so it is time is going to be coming to his starting job.
The Titans signed Ryan Tannehill offer him some competition and to drive Mariota. If Mariota always struggles, we should expect to determine Tannehill reunite snaps. And it’s not like Mariota has been horribly awful, he just hasn’t lived up to his selection in the draft at No. 2.
Mariota handed for 8 interceptions and 11 touchdowns in 2018. In addition, he rushed for 357 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Not what you expect from a possibility out of college. Together with Tannehill on the roster, Mariota has any added motivation to perform well.
Corey Davis should give the offense an increase. Heading into his third season. Big things are expected out of Davis as a sophomore after 891 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also Delanie Walker should unite to give the Browns’ defense some looks in this competition.
The yield of a healthy Walker will reap Mariota . Everybody will talk about Beckham and Baker Mayfield in this match, but Davis and Walker can steal some of their limelight. Derrick Henry isn’t a fun guy to try and tackle. He averaged 146.5 metres on the floor in the last four weeks of the regular season.
Beckham is dealing with a hip injury, as we mentioned earlier. It has been confirmed that he won’t be anything close to 100%. He missed all of training camp and did not play a down from creating a rhythm in the preseason, which averted Beckham and Baker. He is going to be a decoy here. Despite the injury, Tennessee must honor Beckham’s presence.
I am not one of the folks signing the desire of the Browns, although we’ll see how this season goes. They’ve various weapons. That said, it might take some time for this particular unit to get a chemistry playing together. Mariota has more than enough time with his team.
6’s lineup here is set with understanding in mind. Cleveland are the group in the offseason, so naturally, money will pour in about the Browns. 6 looks like a bit much to me personally in a game that needs to be a close competition. Henry chewing up yardage and keeping drives heading for the Titans probably keeps this in 6 points on Sunday.
