Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins set career highs to receiving yards (198) and touchdowns (three) in his team’s opening match of the year.
Watkins, in his second year with all the Chiefs that were explosive, started off with a 68-yard touchdown.
And he did not wait long to add his instant, hauling at a pass from a season’s NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes.
Afterwards, using a grab, Watkins restricted off his trio of all both TDs in the third quarter as Kansas City proceeded to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-26.
Not only were they amounts bests for its 26-year-old, but also the 198-yard total was the fifth-best within 1 match in Chiefs history.
